So, who'd of thunk it?! Ben is soon to turn 18 and Senior Year is off and running. The first week of school found him dropping a class with a hostile teacher and working with a favorite teacher to create an independent study course - literature, writing and completing college applications will all be requirements. Woohoo, less nagging for the mom and dad to do! His favorite art teacher generously came to Kalamazoo today and took a day out of her new retirement to take Senior Photos with Ben and Steve. We had a great time at both locations, Kalamazoo College and Kalamazoo Central. K College is a nice tie since that's where we lived when Ben was born. K Central is now and worked for both Ben and Steve.Time flies. I'm full of pride at who Ben is and full of emotion at the lightning speed of the days. And, yes, that is all North Face in Green and Gray, he's willing to consider a rep contract. . .
Michigan weather is clear gorgeous September, apple picking and maybe a stroll by the Big Lake tomorrow. Life is Good!!!
